Kristinehamn and Lake Vänern as fishing destinations With world-unique freshwater salmon, large sea-migrating trout and world-class pike fishing, Lake Vänern is one of Europe’s absolutely hottest sport fishing waters. Here you can find a fishing that suits you, regardless of whether you spin fish among the archipelago’s islands, cobs and skerries or trolling fish on the vast open waters of Lake Vänern. The Kristinehamn area also offers very good fishing for perch and pikeperch as well as the opportunity for land fishing for several fish species.
Full or half day package with dinner in the evening
You choose which package suits you and your party. Fish all day with lunch or do the shorter half-day trip. All fishing equipment is included. No matter how long you want to be out on the lake, dinner is included in the evening at the city hotel’s restaurant Axel.
Accommodation is included and you choose the type of room you want. Breakfast is included in the morning.

Sustainable Sport Fishing
Together with an experienced fishing guide, we want to offer unforgettable experiences where we take responsibility for good sport fishing also in the future. Therefore, fishing is always conducted with good knowledge and a basic idea of sustainable sport fishing:

The regulations of the Swedish Maritime Administration are always followed carefully

Only one hook per bait is used when fishing for salmon and trout, which facilitates the release of unauthorized catches.

We focus on giving you a good experience and do not catch more fish than necessary, but of course you can take one or a couple of food fish home.

When fishing, gentle nets and adapted hooking equipment are always used for releasing fish.

All catches and fish are reported to the catch database for sustainable management of fishing in Lake Vänern

For each booked fishing package, SEK 100 goes to releases of salmon and trout smolt in Lake Vänern
